Antique Cast Iron Mr. Peanut Fence Post Sitter

Authentic, original, antique cast iron Mr. Peanut fence post sitter in as found condition from the Planters Peanut building located on
S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.  Planters peanuts dates back to
1906 but the Planters building was demolished back in 2006. Many of the Mr. Peanuts figures that adorned this building were destroyed or given out as retirement gifts to loyal employees. Figure came from a collector who worked at  Planters  for many years. Mr. Peanut weights  in at about 160 lbs and  40″ high.  And
yes, he is hollow inside. Hard item to find.  Definitely not a reproduction……….
