Amazingly rare German hand carved Wilhelm Hennecke carousel clowns and Mecki Hedgehog who is a German children’s character. Mecki is based on the tale of The Hare and the Hedgehog, from the brothers Grimm’s famous fairy tale collection. He would be at the center of the carousel with his baton, and the clowns sat on either side of him. See additional pictures of other examples. With stands they measure between 48”-63” tall.
