Carousel horses made by Allen Herschell Company 1925-1937. The body is wood while the head, tail and feet are aluminum. Referred to in the trade as “Jugheads”. Restored about 10 years ago when the carousel was retired from service. Horse comes with original brass pole and cast metal stirrups. Nice collectible…………..
