Original retirement gift presented to legendary animator Frank Thomas upon his retirement from Walt Disney Corporation. It consists of a lithographic print of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy hanging a piece in a gallery with a color photograph of Thomas pasted into the frame. Handwritten in the lower border is, “Thanks Frank, Now You’re in the Disney Hall of Fame!” Frank Thomas was one of Walt Disney’s legendary “Nine Old Men,” a core group of animators who shaped the golden age of Disney animation. He helped animate Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Bambi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and The Jungle Book.
