1960s fiberglass “silent Sam” construction worker. Made in NYC to handle flag work for construction crews to alert cars of the upcoming road work. The unions quickly fought these automatons as it took away a job from a worker, and production was halted. Motor can be attached to either hand for movement. These have been converted to referees, Uncle Sam, gas station attendees and several other characters. About 6.5’ tall. Comes with original sales packet.
