WWII Anti Axis “Kill The Jap” Chicken Sam Figure by Ray-O-Lite
Description:
Chicken Sam” was a popular 1930s rifle arcade game made by Seeburg under the “Ray-O-Lite” rifle range brand. The game had different figures, including a hobo and a stereotypical African-American figure, who were both made out to be chicken thieves. In 1942 they created conversion kits and sent them to machine operators to convert these figures to an Anti-Japanese soldier figure. The machines’ names were then changed to “Kill The Jap”. After the war, these conversion kits were mostly discarded as the figure was rather fragile. Almost non survived. Measures 18” tall with a custom built stand for display. Comes with all the moving parts.
